Internationally acclaimed Moritz Ernst will present a contemporary classical concert of piano works at LASALLE. Moritz will be playing 20th, 21st Century piano repertoire- fresh, exciting stuff! He will also be premiering Jeffrey Ching‘s latest Sonata.

About Moritz Ernst

Moritz Ernst is an internationally acclaimed pianist, harpsichordist and chamber musician, performing a wide range of repertoire from baroque to contemporary music. Music of the 20th and 21st century is especially dear to his heart. Ernst has premiered several works as well as collaborating closely with composers such as Eötvös, Pelzel, Winkler, Bhagwati, Wohlhauser, Olofsson, Maros and others, some of whom have dedicated works to him. The international press has highly acclaimed Moritz Ernst for his superb recordings. The Classical Music Magazine granted him their highest rating. Gramophone praised his sparkling and stimulating rendition, Diapason and Fono Forum both awarded highest marks (5/5) for his Lourié and Ullmann recordings.
