The Composers Society of Singapore (CSS) collaborates with Singapore Chinese Orchestra (SCO) and Composers Association of New Zealand (CANZ) for a special workshop for composers.

CSS Composers: Phang Kok Jun, Chew Jun An, Tan Yuting, Daniel Lim, Robert Casteels, Hoh Chung Shih, Ding Jian Han, Wang Chenwei

SCO quartet: Yuan Qi (huqin), Yu Jia (pipa), Tan Chye Tiong (dizi) and Ngoh Kheng Seng (percussion)

Works:

Chew Jun An – Waxing Moon for flute, bass clarinet, pipa, erhu, cello

Tan Yuting – Carried by the Wind for flute, percussion, chinese percussion, pipa

Daniel Lim – Shroud for dizi/xiao, bass clarinet. clarinet, erhu, pipa, cello, taonga puoro (Maori instruments)

Robert Casteels – A Line Runs Away

Hoh Chung Shih – Shide Song 拾得颂

Ding Jian Han – 回忆… (Memories…)

Wang Chenwei – Demonic Dance 妖族舞曲
