June in Buffalo 2019
Happy New Year! Applications for June in Buffalo 2019 have already started rolling in. The festival will take place from June 3-9, 2019, at the University at Buffalo, and offer an intensive schedule of seminars, lectures, workshops, professional presentations, participant forums and open rehearsals as well as afternoon and evening concerts open to the general public. Each of the invited composers will have one of their pieces performed during the festival. Our line-up this year includes Senior Composers Anna Clyne, David Felder, Brian Ferneyhough, Stephen Hartke, Lei Liang and Rolf Wallin, and resident ensembles Ensemble Signal, Ensemble Dal Niente, The Elisabeth Holmertz and Kenneth Karlsson Duo, The Mivos Quartet, Slee Sinfonietta, Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra, and special guest Irvine Arditti.
