Participants will delve into techniques that bridge traditional melodies and contemporary expression, creating music that resonates across cultures and time.<\/p>\n
Renowned huqin virtuoso Yang Xue will lead Hunix Bowed-String Ensemble (Malaysia) to demonstrate and discuss the erhu quartet piece, \u201cPicking Red Water Chestnuts\u201d, sharing insights into aspects such as multi-part listening, section relationships, tonal balance, and musical interpretation. The workshop will explore the science behind huqin ensemble training and discuss the development of huqin ensemble music.<\/p>\n
