This is a contest for composition of educational music works for saxophone.<\/p>\n<p>The goal is this contest is to award pedagogical music pieces at most 4 minutes long which have to be linked to another type of art (free choice). This piece should be for alto saxophone which can be alone or accompanied by piano, percussion, theater, dance, video or audio file (4 channels max with stereo reduction mandatory). The composition (including accompaniment) should be playable by young musician from 1 to 6 years of practice, corresponding at ABRSM levels 1 to 5.<\/p>\n<p>Composition(s) submission(s) deadline is <strong>1 April 2020 (W)<\/strong>. Registration fee is 10 \u20ac per composition.<\/p>\n<p>A maximum of ten compositions will be selected to participate in the final. Four criteria are taken into account for the preselection: educational interest, link to another type of art, quality of writing and originality. These pieces will be sent to all partner classes (at least fifty) as well as to sponsors from June 21, 2020.
