C.H.O.P.P.A. Experimental Electronic Music Festival 2019<\/h4>\n

The CHOPPA Experimental Music Festival 2019 returns this year at LASALLE College of the Arts!<\/p>\n

Keeping with the momentum of last year\u2019s stellar series of performances of experimental electro-acoustic improvisation, electronic and noise music, the 2019 CHOPPA Music Festival will bring into focus practitioners of sonic arts from around South East Asia.<\/p>\n

This year\u2019s festival is also a foray into a new and intimate direction with a focus on solo and duo performances of sweepings shards of experimental noise, broken beats, electronic treatments with scattered electro-acoustic elements! With this in mind, each artist will be given longer performance times to fully explore the outer edges of their aesthetic direction.<\/p>\n

Since January 2007, C.H.O.P.P.A. has been a semi-regular series of improvised and electronic music in Singapore presenting concerts showcasing the experimental music of Singapore and regional scenes by giving a forum for sound artists and musicians to present their work. This festival is presented by School of Contemporary Music at LASALLE College of the Arts.<\/p>\n
