{Counting, Chaos} by NUS Electronic Music Lab<\/strong><\/p>\n NUS UTown Dance Studio (Lvl 1 of Stephen Riady building)<\/strong> {Counting Chaos} is a two part act presented by NUS EML.<\/p>\n The first half (the Counting) features original electronic music by EML members composed in odd meters, mixed meters, polyrhythm or a combination. For the layman, it means we\u2019re composing original music in either odd time signatures eg: 5\/4 or 7\/4. Or music in mixed time signatures, eg containing 5\/4, 4\/4 and 7\/4. Or music in polyrhythm, two or more different rhythms simultaneously.<\/p>\n The second half (the Chaos) will feature timbretan, one of our EML alumni. timbretan likes to explore using sound to articulate chaotic maps. This experimental art form will serve you a unique auditory experience.<\/p>\n (A chaotic map is simply a system sensitive to initial conditions)<\/p>\n Free entry<\/p>\n
