11 Sep 2022 (Sun) shows at 3PM and 7PM<\/strong><\/p>\n Esplanade Recital Studio<\/strong><\/p>\n Tickets: $25<\/strong><\/p>\n Suara Singa is an annual lower equal-voices ensemble performance by the Vox Camerata Male Chorus. It provides a platform for conductors and enthusiastic tenor and bass singers that deep-dives into repertoire that is not often performed in Singapore and allows them to experiment with the vocal sonority of equal voices.<\/p>\n This inaugural concert is led by the esteemed Dr. Zechariah GOH Toh Chai. He has curated a survey of TTBB repertoire that ranges from the late medieval period to contemporary pieces. We will also be featuring three of his works \u20184 Iron-Black Steeds\u2019, \u2018Strike the Drums\u2019 and \u2018Dawn of the New Millennium\u2019. \u2018Dawn of the New Millennium\u2019 will be receiving its Singapore premiere in this concert. The ensemble is made up of established music teachers and performers gathered by their common interest in developing the performance capabilities of the local choral music scene.<\/p>\n
