International Acousmastic Composition Competition for electroacousmatic works of up to 10 channels. <strong>Deadline: 28 Mar 2021 (Su).<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Deadline: 28 Mar 2021 (Su)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Entry Fee: EUR10 per submission (for Cat A: Professional), EUR6 per submission (for Cat B: Student)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Results: 5 Jun 2021 (Sa)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Composers Society of Singapore (CSS) has been notified of a call for scores by KLANG! International Acousmastic Composition Competition for electroacousmatic works of up to 10 channels. From the organisers:<\/p>\n<h4>Guidelines:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>The competition of acousmatic composition is open to composers of any nationality, age and gender. The competition is divided in two categories: Category A (Professional) and Category B (Student).<\/li>\n<li>Only acousmatic work in stereo or multichannel (up to 10 channels) are accepted. There is no duration limit.<\/li>\n<li>For <strong>Category A (Professional)<\/strong>: the entry fee is EUR10 (via PayPal). Indicate the title of your piece in the text field &#8220;Add Comment&#8221; on PayPal. The registration will not be taken into account if the payment is delayed or has not been done.<\/li>\n<li>For <strong>Category B (Student)<\/strong>: the entry fee is EUR6 (via PayPal). A copy of student id must be sent with their audio file. Indicate the title of your piece in the text field &#8220;Add Comment&#8221; on PayPal. The registration will not be taken into account if the payment is delayed or has not been done.<\/li>\n<li>Submitted works must not have been edited for commercial purpose and must have been composed during the 2 years preceding the call closure date.<\/li>\n<li>The participants have to complete the application form on the organisers&#8217; website in the <strong>provided order (Payment -&gt; Application Form -&gt; Uploads)<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Each candidate can submit as many works as desired, but must <strong>re-make a full application (Payment -&gt; Application Form -&gt; Uploads) for each submitted work<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Each uploaded file should only be named with the title of the work and then placed in a folder named with the category entered (A or B) then the channel total number followed by title of the piece (eg: A_8_title).<\/li>\n<li>The <strong>name of the composer(s) must not appear on any submitted files<\/strong> (.pdf, audio etc.).<\/li>\n<li>Allowed formats: .aiff, .wav., 24bit and 48kHz. Multichannel pieces must be submitted as: 1) one interleaved audio file, 2) a stereoversion (named as: title_stereo_version), 3) a pdf (or jpeg) file showing the location of speakers and channel numbering (we will attempt to reproduce it to its best with our acousmonium), all submitted together in a folder named with the category entered (A or B) then the total channel number followed by title of the piece (eg: A_8_title). If the files are more than 2Gb, the additional wetransfer charges will be borne by the candidate.<\/li>\n<li><strong>KLANG!&#8217;s prize holder cannot candidate again to this prize for 4 years (from the year of the held prize)<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>The deadline for submission is the <strong>28 Mar 2021 (Su) before midnight (GMT+2)<\/strong>. The selected works will be announced during our festival on <strong>5 Jun 2021 (Sa)<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Prizes:<\/h4>\n<p><strong>Category A<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>First prize<\/strong>: French radio broadcast, the composer will be invited to a carte blanche concert at the KLANG! festival. The selected work will be also played in France and across Europe during a concert series organised by our partners: Musiques &amp; Recherches (Bruxelles), BEAST (Birmingham), Festival Manca (Nice), Le Scrime (Bordeaux), etc.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Second prize<\/strong>: The selected work will be played during the KLANG! \u00c3\u00a9lectroacoustique festival by maison des arts sonores on the KLANG acousmonium.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Category B (one prize)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The selected work will be played during a KLANG acousmonium special student concert.<\/p>\n<p>The jury consists of internationally renowned composers (to be anounced soon).<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/klangacousmonium.wordpress.com\/klang-international-acousmatic-composition-competition-2021-reglement-guidelines\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">To The Organisers Website<\/a><\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][\/et_pb_section]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>CSS has been notified of a call for scores by KLANG!
