Words from the Composer:<\/p>\n
The five works on [word]plays – medi+aTion [bari sax solo], homonym, heteronym\/, cryptonym: [sax quartets], and b(locked.orders) [soprano sax + electronics + video] – bring together the mystery+puzzle enthusiast and lover-of-words-but-not-their-meanings sides of me.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The five works were performed by New Thread Quartet, Noa Even, and Philipp St\u00c3\u00a4udlin respectively. This album is released with support from NAC Singapore, the Willson Center for Humanities and Arts, and MacDowell.<\/p>\n
