We aim to inspire composers to create works that speak to our diverse audiences, challenge musicians and enrich the wind band repertoire.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"font_8 wixui-rich-text__text\"><span class=\"wixui-rich-text__text\">For the first time, the contest invites composers to draw inspiration from Singapore-based source materials, blending artistic creativity with cultural storytelling. By engaging with our local soundscapes and heritage, composers can contribute meaningfully to the evolving Singapore wind band scene.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"font_8 wixui-rich-text__text\"><span class=\"wixui-rich-text__text\">The contest features three categories, each tailored to different levels of difficulty, performance duration and instrumentation.
