The NMGCS V International Composition <\/strong><\/span>Competition<\/strong>, organized by The National Music & Global Culture Society <\/span>(New York), is now open for submissions! This year’s competition recognizes outstanding new full-scale musical works inspired by Turkic nations\u2019 folk songs. It\u00a0is open to composers of all nationalities with no age restrictions.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n First Prize: $2000 Additionally, all prize winners will receive a Certificate of Excellence and have their works performed at the Lincoln Center, Bruno Walter Auditorium in New York, USA.<\/p>\n An original composition for solo instrument or small ensemble (up to 5 instruments),\u00a0based on one or several of ten (10) pre-selected\u00a0Turkic nations\u2019 folk songs\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>must be submitted.
