Pianist\u00a0<\/span>See Ning Hui\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>returns with\u00a0<\/span>ReSounding \u91cd\u751f(\u58f0)<\/em>, part of a series featuring\u00a0<\/span>Fanny Mendelssohn\u2019s\u00a0Easter Sonata<\/em>. Written in 1828\u2014before the Mendelssohn siblings revived Bach\u2019s\u00a0<\/span>St Matthew Passion<\/em>\u00a0and transformed classical music\u2014the\u00a0<\/span>Sonata<\/em>\u00a0was buried in the archives and misattributed to Felix until its rediscovery in 2010. Following concerts in London and Manila, where critic Yoko Tsunekawa noted her \u2018rich palette of colours and expressive phrasing\u2019, Ning Hui brings the\u00a0<\/span>Sonata<\/em>\u00a0into dialogue with voices from home.<\/span><\/p>\n
