Traversing<\/strong> opens Ding Yi Music Company\u2019s 2026\/27 season with a bold statement of artistic direction. Led by Chief Artistic Mentor Tsung Yeh, the concert explores the theme of \u300a\u201c\u6a02\u201d\u65e0\u754c\u300b\u2014music without borders\u2014bringing together diverse musical traditions through the lens of a contemporary Chinese chamber ensemble.<\/p>\n The programme features two newly commissioned works: Celtic Knots by Cultural Medallion recipient Eric Watson<\/strong> and Sing a Pura by Su Xiao<\/strong>, inspired by Singapore\u2019s Merlion and its outward-looking spirit. Other highlights include Hungarian Rhapsody Op. 68, arranged by Jon Lin Chua<\/strong> and performed by cellist Bekhzod Oblayorov, Guzheng Concerto: Goddess of the Luo River with soloist Yvonne Tay and internationally acclaimed pianist Ning An playing Piano Concerto: Youth, a work imbued with youthful spirit and expressive vitality.<\/p>\n Date: 11 April 2026, 7:30PM
