Brendon Fernandez: Getting to Win-Win (Negotiation Skills for Arts Freelancers)

Arts Resource Hub (ARH@SAC), Blk A #03-03 Stamford Arts Centre, 155 Waterloo Street 9 Mar 2020 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM

What’s my rate? Per hour, per day, per word, or per project? What about “loading”? How do I know the number I quote is high enough so I won’t “spoil market”, but not so high I price myself out of a job?

Freelancers have to answer questions like these every day. We can’t tell you there’s a one-size-fits-all right answer. But we can discuss these questions with peers and colleagues to help build a clearer picture of prevailing market rates, and industry norms.

If you have questions about negotiating terms as an arts freelancer in Singapore, have some experience to share, and would like to be part of the conversation, please attend!
