In celebration of Singapore’s 60th Anniversary in 2025, Memoirs in Music by the Nanyang Collective is a moving, multidisciplinary concert that reimagines our national journey through contemporary music and multimedia storytelling.
This project pays tribute to the pioneers who shaped Singapore. At the heart of the performance is a storyteller, who takes on the voice of Mr Lee Kuan Yew. Through carefully selected excerpts from the late Mr Lee’s life, the storyteller will guide the audience through key historical milestones, offering a personal and emotional lens on our shared past.
This concert will premiere the works of Singapore composers Eric Watson, Gu Wei and Chen Zhangyi.
Date: 9 December 2025, 7:30PM
