Volunteer With Us
As CSS expands, we would like to recruit new volunteers to contribute to our digital and offline initiatives! If interested, please fill up our volunteer application form via our website.
- Writing team volunteers:
- Write reviews and previews of concerts and other music events for our website’s Musings section (free tickets to the event will be provided)
- Research and write Facts of the Day, an initiative sharing short facts about local composers on our social media platforms
- Event photographers / videographers:
- Photograph still images or record videos of CSS events for publishing on our website and social media
- Equipment will not be provided so please bring your own
- Admin & research support:
- Research for grants and funding organizations to support CSS initiatives
- Assist admin staff with general writing work, such as drafting letters, emails, and grant proposals
- Singapore Composers Music Archive team volunteers:
- Curate and review submissions according to guidelines and help collate metadata
- Liaise with composers and assist with communications and outreach
- Assist with project coordination (scheduling, taking minutes, tracking progress, maintaining task list)
- Assist with issues concerning copyright, licensing, and permissions

As member of the Composers Society of Singapore (CSS), you will be able to receive opportunities to be featured on various CSS platforms through initiatives such as Composers of the Month, our Score Follower Videos, and other initiatives.
