CSS Composer Lab

 CSS Composer Lab is a workshop series for composers, allowing them to try out and get feedback on their compositions with visiting guest performers. Through these sessions, we allow composers the opportunity to garner practical and technical insight from professional musicians and better envision how their music can be brought off the page and onto the stage.

We are deeply excited to be hosting an upcoming workshop with Darragh Morgan and Mary Dullea of the critically acclaimed Fidelio Trio. The session will consist of a score reading of three works by CSS composers for solo violin, solo piano, or violin and piano, followed by a talk and performance of new music from Ireland. The workshop is a rare opportunity to hear from leading musicians, Dr Morgan and Professor Dullea, about composition techniques, ideas, and styles for the violin, piano, electronics, and more.

We invite everyone interested in composition to sit in on the workshop to observe for learning and exposure.
