Christopher Sim is a Singaporean composer, music engraver and orchestrator. Well-travelled, Chris has been to numerous destinations across Asia, Europe, the Americas, and Africa, absorbing music and culture from around the world. In 2013, he returned to Singapore and graduated from Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music (YSTCM) in 2021 with First Class Honours. Between 2021 and 2023 formally served as a Music Technologist in a social enterprise that employs music to assist disadvantaged communities throughout Singapore before embarking on a path of entrepreneurship in 2024. Chris has been involved in several major projects from various institutions, orchestras, ensembles and individual artists, including Singapore Chinese Orchestra, Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, National University of Singapore, Hand Werk and Philharmonic Youth Winds. Chris has also worked with renowned composers and artists including Adeline Wong, Martin Jaggi and Roderick Teh. In addition to music, Chris is also involved with business development, content creation and graphic design.

Chris's Music largely explores traditional tonality and neo-baroque realisations. Relishing in history, he believes in looking to the past to create the new, and creating musical colours that are relatable. As an avid orchestrator, he embarks on personal projects such as orchestrating the entirety of Prokofiev's Sixth Piano Sonata in A major, Op. 82, Bach's Violin Partita No. 2, and Shostakovich's Eighth String Quartet.
