{Counting, Chaos} by NUS Electronic Music Lab

{Counting Chaos} is a two part act presented by NUS EML.
The first half (the Counting) features original electronic music by EML members composed in odd meters, mixed meters, polyrhythm or a combination. For the layman, it means we’re composing original music in either odd time signatures eg: 5/4 or 7/4. Or music in mixed time signatures, eg containing 5/4, 4/4 and 7/4. Or music in polyrhythm, two or more different rhythms simultaneously.
The second half (the Chaos) will feature timbretan, one of our EML alumni. timbretan likes to explore using sound to articulate chaotic maps. This experimental art form will serve you a unique auditory experience.
(A chaotic map is simply a system sensitive to initial conditions)
