Calling for scores for solo harp and string orchestra!
The “Portus Apostoli” Prize was established in 2022 as an initiative to expand the repertoire of works for harp and orchestra. In this edition, the competition will delve into the same concept, but with a focus on encouraging the creation of compositions where the featured instrument of the Noia Harp Fest, the harp, can blend harmoniously with the string orchestra. The award, which includes a monetary recognition of up to 4.000 euros, will also involve the world premiere performance of the winning piece during a special concert associated with the NHF, featuring internationally renowned soloists. Additionally, an Honorable Mention could be granted (without a financial prize) to the work that secures second place in the competition.
Deadline: 23 December 2026
