The composer John Cage and the dancer Merce Cunningham are famous in their own fields for their boundary pushing work in music and dance. However, they collaborated continually throughout most of their lives and through these collaborations supported and developed each other as artists. This presentation offers an introduction to their work and illustrates how their unique artistic contributions developed not in isolation but rather through dialogue.
