L’arietta productions is proud to present All Dressed Up (No Place to Go), an original operatic work composed specifically for the digital medium. Working with American composer Michael Ching, L’arietta has crafted an official prequel to his popular contemporary opera, Speed Dating Tonight.
All Dressed Up (No Place to Go) was conceived as a way to keep operatic performances alive while social distancing, in the comfort of our homes. The characters sing about their dreams, anxiety, and hope as they all adjust to the times. For the next eight weeks, a new character will be introduced through their brand new aria, followed by a glimpse into their day, all through social media. A first of its kind, All Dressed Up (No Place to Go) is an operatic response transmitted to the world, at the click of a button.
