This is a notice from The Arts Resource Hub team at National Arts Council:
As part of the national enhanced measures for workers in higher-risk mask-off settings and to further reduce the risk of transmission of the virus, the Multi-Ministry Taskforce has introduced the Fast and Easy Testing (FET) regime. The FET will be made mandatory from mid-July 2021 for all instructors and staff who come into contact with unmasked persons in the course of their work. They are required to be on a regular FET regime using tests such as the Antigen Rapid Test (ART), regardless of their vaccination status.
This email provides some information on the necessary follow-ups required by those of you who are SEP arts instructors in the following fields:
- Dance
- Singing
- Wind/brass instruments, and
- Voice and theatre training (including speech and drama, actor training).
Instructors conducting MASKED dance, singing, wind/brass instruments, voice and theatre training (including speech and drama, acting training) activities: Do inform NAC here if you have no intention to conduct mask-off activities, i.e. no need to take part in FET.
Instructors conducting UNMASKED singing, wind/brass instruments, voice and theatre training (including speech and drama, actor training) activities: Register your preference for an appointment at a Quick Test Centre (QTC) via this form here.
You will be assigned a time slot based on a first-come-first-serve basis. A confirmation SMS with your appointment details will be sent 2-4 days prior to your test date. Rescheduling of missed appointments and registration of subsequent FET appointments once every 14 days are to be made via the same link.
Instructors conducting UNMASKED dance activities: Register your preference for an appointment at a Quick Test Centre (QTC) via this form here to secure an appointment at the Quick Test Centres (QTCs) set up by SportSG. For booking of subsequent FET tests, please visit www.go.gov.sg/sepfet1. Dance instructors that have earlier registered with SportSG need not register again.
