CSS Full Member Emily KOH’s new album [word]plays: microtonal works for saxophone(s) has just been released on Innova Recordings, label of the American Composers Forum!

Words from the Composer:

The five works on [word]plays – medi+aTion [bari sax solo], homonym, heteronym/, cryptonym: [sax quartets], and b(locked.orders) [soprano sax + electronics + video] – bring together the mystery+puzzle enthusiast and lover-of-words-but-not-their-meanings sides of me. 

The five works were performed by New Thread Quartet, Noa Even, and Philipp Stäudlin respectively. This album is released with support from NAC Singapore, the Willson Center for Humanities and Arts, and MacDowell.
