“When the world was young it was covered in water. An endless sea that stretched farther than the sunset and the sunrise embraced the world. All living creatures lived in the sea and in the sky.” So begins the tale of The Crow and the Dove in this special programme, organized by the Singapore Symphony Orchestra.
Accompanying a fusion of ballet and Filipino folk dance, Dr. Phoon Yu will be performing the organ for a number of pieces, including an excerpt from The Senate of Birds, composed by local composer and CSS member Gu Wei.
