Call for Applications: Thessaloniki Art & Music Summit (THAMS)

The 2026 edition of the Thessaloniki Art & Music Summit (THAMS) will take place in Thessaloniki, Greece from May 24 to June 6. THAMS is an international composition program organized by Ablaze Records and Global Arts United, offering selected composers the opportunity to work closely with the Thessaloniki State Symphony Orchestra in one of Greece’s most vibrant cultural centers.

THAMS 2026 is focused exclusively on composition. Participants will work intensively with orchestra musicians, conductors, and faculty through rehearsals, reading sessions, and public performances, culminating in two orchestral concerts with the superb Thessaloniki State Symphony Orchestra.

This program is designed for composers seeking meaningful, hands-on experience writing for orchestra at a high professional level, within an international and artistically immersive environment.
