Max Computer Music Workshop [Online]
For creative technologists + musicians + composers Signal processing as a medium for musical expression
The Max Computer Music Workshop (MCMW), led by Charles NICHOLS and Christopher DOBRIAN (author of “Max Cookbook”), is an intermediate to advanced one- to two-week immersive workshop, focused on programming and composing computer music in the Max visual programming environment. Participants will learn techniques for programming interactive computer music, culminating in a public recorded performance of works created during the workshop.
- Session A: “Max Programming Fundamentals”, 2 weekends, (beginner/intermediate) July 16-18, 24-25
- Session B: “Computer Music Programming and Composition”, (intermediate-advanced) July 26-31
