The Composers Society of Singapore (CSS) has received a message from LA Music Industry Summer Academy (LAMISA) in Los Angeles, California, USA. Those who are pop-inclined should read on.
LAMISA for this year will be held from 28 Jun to 11 Jul 2020 (Su-Sa).
Here is the message:
The LAMISA is currently accepting applications for its 2020 season. We are only accepting 20 students and priority is given to those who apply early. In 2019 we had an extremely successful first year and some of our participants are now working with industry leaders.
Participants will:
- Work in Paramount Recording Studios located in Hollywood with live musicians
- Learn Engineering, Production, Management, Songwriting, and Film Scoring
- Study with grammy nominated professional musicians including Ariel Chobaz who has worked with Drake, Nicki Minaj, Snoop Dogg, lil Wayne, Ben Platt, Lin Manuel, Queen Latifah, J Lo and more
- Will be considered for professional part/full-time internships in LA and its various studios
