The Singapore Chinese Orchestra (SCO) will be conducting their Composer Workshop 2022.
This workshop begins with seminars on the characteristics and techniques of Chinese musical instruments, as well as composition and orchestration skills. WANG Chenwei (CSS Full Member), who is SCO’s Composer-In-Residence, will be the instructor/mentor for this workshop. Participants will have the opportunity to consult with him about their drafts. Finally, eight works will be selected to be played by SCO in a reading session.
