Submission Deadline: Rolling
CSS invites all CSS Full members and Student members to submit their scores for our new project: CSS Score Follower Videos! We hope to showcase many different styles of music and composers, including student composers. Pieces will be curated by members of CSS EXCO, and one video will be featured every month.
Works are to be submitted through a Google Form (see links below), either in the format of a score and recording or an existing score video.
Submission Details*:
- Your full name
- A high-quality PDF of your score
- A high-quality recording of your music (preferably in .wav file format)
- If your file exceeds 100MB, please upload it onto a file sharing platform (Google Drive, Dropbox, WeTransfer, etc.) and email the link to cssscorefollowervideos@gmail.com
- Names of performer(s) and instrument(s) played
- Names of any other contributor(s) and their role(s)
- Your Website/Social Media handle [optional]
*By submitting to this call, you agree to let CSS to upload the music and score, and have sought permission from the performers involved.
Submission Guidelines:
Each member can submit a maximum of two (2) works
There are no limitations on instrumentation, style, and length; However, long works are more likely to be excluded due to video editing time, and works with large instrumentation may affect the visibility of scores when uploaded on YouTube.
If you wish to submit an existing score video, do ensure that the video is uploaded on YouTube, and submit a link to the existing video.
