The Borneo Ensemble is pleased to announce a call for scores for our second International Composers Competition. This event is in collaboration with Gema Bumi, aims to offer opportunities for student composers to showcase their works. Our collaboration seeks to explore the relationship between ambient soundscapes and modern musical forms and to raise environmental awareness.
Composition Guidelines:
Composition must include all of the following instruments: Piano, Violin, Viola, Kalimba, and Turali/Bungkau
Scores must be original, have not been previously performed or published, and be specifically composed for this event.
Submission Deadline: 15 March 2024
