Call for Applications: Vienna Contemporary Composers Festival

Applications for the 2026 Vienna Contemporary Composers Festival (VCCF) are now open! The festival will take place July 3–16, 2026, in Vienna, Austria — one of the world’s most inspiring centres for music and culture.

Highlights of the 2026 edition include:

  • Performances of participants’ works by our resident and guest ensembles — PHACE, Mivos Quartet, and Dal Niente.
  • A special appearance by Irvine Arditti, founder of the Arditti Quartet, who will perform and, time permitting, record new works for solo violin.
  • Private lessons, seminars, and masterclasses with internationally renowned composers and performers.
  • A vibrant schedule of lectures, rehearsals, and performances in the heart of Vienna.
